Starlight Acres is a Katahdin-Dorper Sheep farm based in Munnsville, NY, that was formed by Justin and Jamie Fuess in 2020.

Our mission is to provide affordable, sustainable landscaping services through solar grazing, while also marketing happy and healthy grass-fed lambs.

Solar grazing is the practice of grazing livestock on a solar site in order to maintain the vegetation around the solar panels.

Sheep are the best suited livestock for this as they are small enough to fit underneath the panels to control the growth, and are naturally docile creatures that do not bother or damage the panels or cabling.
